Legis Systems has
been the developer and provider of
the Legis Case Management software
system since 1992. Our newest product,
LegisSQL Version 2, is the latest in a long line of products that have been
outstandingly successful in generating revenue and growth in many of our
clients.
History
Interface Logic was formed in
1982 to develop
hardware and software for a range of applications, one of which being
the very first Legis case management system. This was developed in
conjunction with Ulrex, a small sales/marketing company. When the
under-funded Ulrex floundered, Interface Logic became the sole
owner of the Legis software and formed the companies Legis Systems and
Legis Support to provide a development and support environment for the
old Ulrex customers, and has since continued to develop and improve the
software in very close partnership with a small number of well known
firms.
Now
Recent developments have made the product so
effective, and rich in features, that those case managers and IT people
who have used many different systems have repeatedly told us that Legis’
capabilities and ease of use exceed other systems by a substantial
margin. The only negative comments we have received is that we have
not actively marketed the product to a wider audience.
Accordingly, we have joined forces with the
company KsysLegal (http://www.ksyslegal.co.uk), which comprises a team of IT experts and people with many
years experience in case management within solicitors. They are using
their vast experience to supply support, training and development
resources to help firms reduce costs, improve service and gain new
business.
Future
In our opinion, the Case Management market is
over-full with companies whose main drive is sales, sales and more sales
with little regard for service and quality once the ink is dry on the
contract. Our philosophy is to remain committed to quality and not
become sales orientated at the expense of our clients. This
is being
achieved by bringing in new clients to Legis and concentrating on
helping develop each new client’s business rather than the quantity of
our own sales. Over time, this will lead to natural, rather than forced
growth for Legis Systems and KsysLegal, close ties with good quality clients, and an
excellent reputation for us all.
